UK Day 4: Leeds Castles, Cantebury Cathedral and Dover

For Day 4 we booked a day tour with Evans Evans Sightseeing. Our day started at 6:30 am when the cab picked us up to take us to the rail station. We boarded a 7:00 train (our first one) for London. A 40 minute train ride, quick jaunt on the tube, and walk to the train station later we arrived at our coach. The first stop on our trip was Leed's Castle. This picturesque castle located on two islands in a small lake was first built around the time of the Norman invasion. It has been remodeled and expanded several time with the latest major improvements coming during the 19th century. Next the coach tour led us to Cantebury were we had the opportunity to tour the famous Cantebury Cathedral. Unfortunately our time in this medieval town was short and we soon loaded up and headed to our last stop, a photo shoot near Dover. Here we were able to see Dover Castle from a distance (unfortunately time did not permit a closer look), the English Channel, and the famed white cliffs of Dover. After a quick stop we boarded our bus and headed back to London. We ended the night with dinner at a Creperie in South Kensington and a train ride back to Milton Keynes.
