UK Day 14 and Day 15: The last days

For our last full day in England, we once again hit the Redways in the bikes for some last minute shopping and errands. It was once again quite the adventure. We also gathered our belongings, packed up our bags and cleaned up Papa's flat. When he came home we headed to the nearby park (Kelten's favorite part of the trip). He still says Papa park, because he and Papa frequented this park while we were in London. Here of some pictures of this place. Unfortunately during our stay the park was hit by a local gang and covered in grafitti. Some that is captured in the pictures. It was sad such a pretty place could be vandalized.

The next morning we woke up at 6:00am London time (1:00 am EST) and hired a taxi and drove to the airport. The 1 hour and 15 minute drive took us 2 hours and 20 minutes but we able to check our bags and get through security in less than 30 minutes (impressive for such a busy airport) giving us plenty of time to relax before boarding.  Luckily we were given a free upgrade to the bulkhead seats (and consequently) business class we think. Kelten slept for 3 hours of the 8 hour flight. He was a gem the rest of the time. We arrived home safely and managed to stay awake until around 11:00pm, concluding our 22 hour day and 2 week vacation. We were all happy to be home, but we sorely miss Papa, the park, and England. Thanks to Paul (aka dad and Papa) for such a great trip.
