Camping with Scouts
Martin went on his first camp-out with the scouts.

They spent two nights at Mt. Mitchell in Western North Carolina.

Other destinations on this trip which aren't pictures are Looking Glass Falls, Sliding Rock, and Linville Caverns.

Rockband Party Number 1 of Many
In August we also held a Rockband party for some of the couples in our ward. It was a lot of fun and we discovered the hidden talent in the Durham 4th ward. Sadly, we were having to much fun to take pictures.

Building a Bookshelf

Since moving into the apartment, there has been a vacant spot on the floor. At one time Martin suggested that a bookshelf would a nice addition to the room. A few weeks later he had the opportunity to build his bookshelf with Jennie's dad, while Jennie and her mom went to a church meeting in Asheville. The bookshelf was just what we needed to complete the room.
