UK Day 2

Well Day 2 started with a bang, literally it was quite explosive. K woke up clutching his stomach saying owwee. Well we thought he was itchy as usual and paid no mind. 10 minutes later he was in the toilette (yes bathrooms don't exist here, only toilettes) vomiting. After his breakfast I joined him on the couch and he decided he wanted to share his breakfast with me. *(I being Martin because it's important to note who was the one on the other end of the vomit. Don't worry Jennie has her moments too. Stay tuned for Day 4).
So after cleaning his stomach contents off the couch we loaded up the bags, mounted the bikes and went exploring. Smart right, take the kid with an upset stomach on a bumpy bike ride.
We visited a nearby lake and fed some swans and ducks, rode past a medieval abbey, and made a major archaeological discovery. (Okay we weren't the first I admit but it was cool.) So over the bridge and through the woods we went until we found the Bancroft Manor ruins. The hill has been inhabited since the bronze age. The Romans built a stone house in 100 AD which burnt down in 170AD only to be replaced and later upgraded sometime in 300AD, etc, etc. This building was old. It was really cool and our first tastes of medieval ruins.
Now enough rambling and more pictures.
