United Kingdom Day 1

Okay so it's been a really long time since we posted, A REALLY LONG TIME, but it's nothing like a trip to Europe to trigger the old blog posting brain cells. So for our friends and family who care enough to read an outdated blog we thought we'd chronicle our trip. So Day 1 (well technically Day 1 and Day 2 but we'll just call it day 1) was really crazy. We boarded the plane at 6:15 pm and 6 hours later we arrived at London Heathrow at 6:00 am. After a long cab ride we arrived in Milton Keynes completely exhausted. After a family nap we decided to head for our first adventure to do some grocery shopping. Despite K trying to run away and walking forever with grocery bags trying to find the taxi, we survived somehow. After dinner we put the little one to bed and followed shortly. That's when our next adventure began (well for K at least). Jennie and I were happy to assimilate to England time and would have been happy to sleep the night away but the toddler had other plans. After a night of a little boy hopping in and out of our bed, walking around, and crawling under the bed to get stuck we finally got some good sleep at 6am. Putting multiple hours of sleep together for the first time we awoke around 10am to start day 2.

Waiting to board
