At about noon on Thursday we rolled into Freeport, Bahamas (if ships can even roll).
The port was actually surrounded by pretty ugly industrial buildings, but a 15 minute taxi ride lead us our first experience with beautiful Bahamian beaches and shopping.
The white sand and clear water was quite different than our beloved Wrightsville Beach. We spent most of our time in Freeport on the beach. 
The hotels along the beach were very nice with picturesque grounds.
When back on ship we donned our elegant clothing and enjoyed sushi from the sushi bar. We also ordered virgin Strawberry Daiquiris and Strawberry Pina Coladas from the bar.
After returning to the ship we watched the Carvnival dance team perform to many popular 80's tunes. Truthfully I fell asleep but Jennie really liked it.
